ZRST Internal Training
Exclusively for ZRST instructors, practical assessors, knowledge examiners and staff
to perform update & mandatory training on-the-go.
WHY MUST WE ATTEND TRAINING?
As per CAGM 1821 Para 2.3, updating training should be a minimum of 35 hours duration appropriate to the scope of training of the organisation and particular instructors, knowledge examiners and practical assessors. Records should show for each instructor, knowledge examiner and practical assessor when the updating training was scheduled and when it took place. The updating training may be subdivided during the 24 months into more than one element and may include such activities as attendance at relevant lectures, training, courses and symposiums.
As per CAD 1821 4.2 (l), the maintenance training organisation shall establish and control the competence of personnel involved in any training, examination, management and quality audits in accordance with a procedure, and to a standard, agreed by CAAM.
As per ZRST MTOE Leaflet 3.6 & 3.7, in order to develop the required level of competency, candidates may be required to be familiarized or trained on the following:
- "Train The Trainer" / “Train The Assessor” / “Train The Examiner” course

- Part 147
- Part 145
- ZRST policies and procedures
- Relevant CAAM Civil Aviation Directives
